We had a beautiful June weekend in Westcliffe camping at Alvarado Campground for the second year in a row. The kiddos played frisbee (and lost one in the trees), played in the dirt, built fires, looked at the stars, and slept in tents. A couple of deaf people were camping in the site next to us. That was a thrill for Abi because she is interested in ASL and was able to talk to them before we all left. We went to the Amish store in town for sandwiches and cinnamon rolls and joked about making a giant Adirondack chair for our backyard.
